Evgeny Shin biography

Evgeny Shin was born on December 14, 1985 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR, USSR in a military family. When he was 6 years old, his parents divorced. Evgeny stayed to live with his mother, Tanzila Viktorovna Shin.

During his school years, he studied karate and sambo, attended a music (piano class) school. He also mastered musical instruments such as accordion and flute and sports such as swimming and lawn tennis. He took an active part in musical performances and sports competitions.

После блестящего окончания с золотой медалью Средней школы №8 в Усть-Каменогорске в 2002 году, Евгений Вячеславович Шин приезжает в Москву и поступает в МГУ на юридический факультет.

From the first days of student life at the Institute, Evgeny Shin was active, and took part in university sports contests, KVN and volunteer programs.

In 2005, while studying at the 3rd year of the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University, Evgeny Shin began to show interest in politics, getting acquainted with various political parties and their representatives. He decided to be politically active and joined the Communist Party.

Currently, Evgeny Shin is an assistant to the chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and workes as assistant of Leonid Ivanovich Kalashnikov.
